Our Story
It was 2015. The founder, Nick Mussolini, was on a mission to gain awareness for his animal rights organization, The Soho Project. “What better way than food? I am Italian after all.” So he launched a summer vending series on a whim. The now locally famous Quinoa bowls were a hit, along with the house-made dressings.
In 2016 Avenue29 Foods was officially established, even winning the Best Burger overall at the Hamburg Burger Fest with their meatless vegan creation, The Sunset Burger. That award is what sparked the philosophy in Nick; “If it’s that good, who cares?” He used that very same notion to build their gourmet food and drink company established in Buffalo, NY with the slogan;
“Where your whole crew can eat.”
The Avenue29 Foods venture has since created a whole line of gourmet sauces, dressings, spreads and Spiceblendz™, all inspired by the founders passions for creative cooking, fitness and animal rights.
The demand for high-quality, no sugar added, dairy-free, gluten-free and GMO-free products makes not only the vegan crowd happy, but truly the whole marketplace that are looking for top quality ingredients and explosive gourmet flavor all in one.

Chef Nick is a master of his craft and incredibly picky with his ingredients. One bad tomato is enough to ruin the whole box for him, and he’ll make sure it’s replaced before he brings it to his kitchen.
